Our Mission Is Simple:
Find Every Child
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit using technology, data, and community action to locate missing children — starting with those lost during the US border crisis.
Born From a Crisis That Couldn't Be Ignored
Guardians Of The Digital Border was founded in response to one of the most devastating humanitarian failures in modern American history. When the Biden administration took office on January 20, 2021, sweeping changes to border policy triggered an unprecedented surge of unaccompanied minors crossing into the United States.
Government agencies were overwhelmed. Children were placed with sponsors without adequate vetting. Follow-up checks were missed. Investigations by major news organizations revealed thousands of migrant children working in dangerous conditions — and tens of thousands more simply unaccounted for.
We believe technology can close the gap where government failed. Better apps, smarter databases, wider digital outreach — these are the tools that can bring children home. That is why we exist.
